The only reference is that you can disable the check. Additionally, there is nothing in the MSI deployment guide when I contacted them ( ) referencing that this WebView2 is required as a prerequisite or information on deploying it. I said that the software should be packaged and deployed with the Snagit installer by default even when using the MSI deployment method, but at this point it is not. Yes, they said it is needed for some functionality in the program. ![]()
